The attraction of Pandwa Beach with its white sand stretching along the sturdy limestone hill walls makes the view from watching the beach very unique and classic. sunbathing and enjoying the beach atmosphere by playing in the waves is the dream of travelers to this beach.
Pandawa Beach is one of the tourist attractions in the south Kuta area, Badung Regency, Bali. This beach is located behind the hills and is often referred to as Secret Beach.
Around this beach there are two very large cliffs on one side of which are carved five statues of the Pandavas and Kunti. The six statues in sequence (from the highest position) are given the names of Goddess Kunti, Dharma Wangsa, Bima, Arjuna, Nakula, and Sadewa.
Apart from tourism and water sports purposes, this beach is also used for seaweed cultivation because the beach contour is sloping and the waves do not reach the coastline. Quite a lot of tourists paraglide from Timbis Hill to Pandawa Beach.
This beach area is also often used as a shooting location for FTV soap operas.
Pandawa Beach Today
Due to the increasing interest of tourists in visiting Pandawa Beach, this beach has undergone changes and improvements to very adequate facilities and infrastructure.
And it is hoped that in the future Pandawa Beach will become one of the best beach choices on the island of Bali, which is parallel to previously famous beaches such as Kuta Beach or Sanur Beach.
